What a miracle, not knowing it would be X3. Mike and I found out early November that we were expecting twins. We were so excited, but having some complications we decided to keep it quiet until we were certain. Hard secret to keep!! We went back into the doctor on November 29th and were shocked with the news. We had a ultrasound and it took longer than expected. One of the embryos split into identicals and found 3 babies instead of the 2 we were expecting. The person doing the ultrasound told Mike and I that she was going to see if the other embryo split. This is were Mike and I looked at each other and I stated out loud, "there is no way we are having 4 babies". She relieved us when she said no only 3. Now this changed our plans and it was still very early to tell people. We kept our news a secret until Christmas-12 weeks pregnant when the pregnacy became more stable. Mike and I always thought we would have 3 children but God had a different plan for us and gave them all to us at one time. We have been patiently waiting to share the wonderful news with our family and friends. It was an emotional rollercoster and something we will cherish forever. Our family was screaming, excited, crying, etc.... It was the best news in ND, MN, SD and WI and the news traveled fast. 2 identical girls and a boy, the start of the Purfeerst Triplets!
